In my school days i flied in as passenger. Airline was Indian Airline. From Bombay - now Mumbai to Mangalore now Mangaluru.

It's good to see our country back on the world map, proud to be South African...let's all protect our country against those ppl who came here to destroy our infrastructure.

Was there to spot the arrival if this particular aircraft when it first arrived @FRA from TLS as it was the first blue A330neo for Condor. Flew it in March 2024 from JFK to FRA 👍 In fact, it was damaged by a ground vehicle only a few weeks into operation and went AOG for roughly 5 months. Repair was finished shortly before I had my ride. Ultimately, it was only a few cycles old when I stepped onboard.

I enjoyed every bit of this video! The first time I flew in a plane was in 2017, and it was an A340-300 flight from Lagos to Johannesburg with South African Airways!!! That still remains my most memorable trip! I so much love SAA. Although since they closed their routes in 2020, I switched to EgyptAir. I wish to go back to SAA, but their flights are too expensive now. I flew with EgyptAir from Lagos to Washington DC in 2023, and my wife is taking EgyptAir, too. I wish SAA could come back to their Lagos routes and reduce their cost. You'll get more customers!

SAA should look into replacing the 340 with the 350. I love the A340, but it would just make more sense for them to fly a more modern aircraft. Plus, the SAA livery would look very nice on a 350 too!

You know, as an older Blk American, it does my heart good to see "professional" Blk people, in the airline industry....as pilots!!👍🛫 Too bad this only occurs in foreign countries, instead of America. I guess those folks here, in America, are not too bright, to become pilots.

I've seen the wreckage of a SAA A340 at San Bernardino near LAX last year. By the way, why co pilot communicating by hand radio?
